Professional Empowerment Program

 (PEP)

1 May 01 - 31 August 01

Objective

The Centre for Leadership for Women launched its online Professional Empowerment Program (PEP) on 1 May 01. The Program concluded on 31 August 01. It was developed with the following aims:

Program

The Professional Empowerment Program ran from 1 May to 31 August 2001.

Stage 1:  1 May 01 to 30 June 01

In Stage 1 of the Program,  all questions were responded to by Ilze Frank, Director of Education Services Group of TMP Worldwide. In responding to the questions, Ilze Frank consulted a number of people within TMP Worldwide as well as individuals from other organisations.

Stage 2: 1 July 01 to 31 August 01

In Stage 2 of the Program, PEP was opened up to invite all women to respond to the questions being asked.  As there is an incredible degree of talent and experience in the Centre's membership and those who read the website, women were invited to participate in a PEP Forum for All Women. In the hope that we can empower each other with our own wisdom, knowledge and experience, participants could choose to disclose their contact details to the individual asking the question, or request that it remain confidential.  Ilze Frank, Director, Education Services Group of TMP Worldwide and Ann Whyte assisted with questions which remained unanswered for some time. To submit a question, the closing date was 10 August 01.

Further information on Stage 2 of the Program, see below: Stage 2 PEP Forum for All Women

Participating in PEP was completely free and open to everyone.
