Welcome to the Australian virtual Centre for Leadership for Women (CLW).   

CLW was launched in August 2000 to empower women to believe in their own unique leadership qualities.   I believe in empowering women to identify their strengths and vision and believe in their abilities and the value of their experiences to make their vision a reality.    

In 2001 CLW was short-listed for the Australian Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing.  CLW and, in particular, the Leading Issues Journal  has also been selected by The National Library of Australia to be archived by PANDORA,  an electronic facility called the PANDORA (Preserving and Accessing Networked Documentary Resources of Australia) Archive, which enables the archiving and provision of long term access to online Australian publications.  This is quite an achievement for CLW as only 1% of websites are selected for inclusion into the NLA’s national databases and Pandora web-archive.  CLW is archived at http://nla.gov.au/nla.arc-14329

CLW's national Leadership Achievement Awards is well recognised and supported by leading organisations in the private and public sector and has been proffered upon a number of Australian women self-initiating projects in the community and implementing them in collaboration with others.

I invite you to consider areas of CLW consulting which is for organisations and individuals.  Particular areas beyond what is listed will also be considered for a program designed to tailor for specific needs.

With the hope that CLW may be the means to empower you in achieving your vision, I invite you to  consider becoming a Member of the Centre for the nominal fee of twenty dollars (AUD$20) per year. This fee is GST exempt. CLW was self-funded until 2002 when a fee was introduced to cover costs and its operations. Membership will entitle you to secured areas of the site as well as a bi-monthly E- News Bulletin which will inform you of newly published items on the site.

I hope you find the Centre for Leadership for Women to be a useful resource, a source of support and a forum to voice your concerns and professional needs.   Some of the pages on this site are still being constructed, so may look different in appearance.

All information that is offered by the Visitor/Member remains confidential to the Centre and will only be used as an aggregate for research purposes.  Individual details will not be released.  

CLW does not accept any payment from any organisation or individual to promote any form of its message.
