The CLW Leadership Achievement Award
for Women Program
The CLW Leadership Achievement Award has
been established to recognise women in the community who use their own
initiative to create and implement projects for the benefit of the
community and in collaboration with the community. It aims to encourage
leadership of Australian women and to advance the rights and status of
women in Australia.
The Award runs each year and will encompass achievements by the Entrants for the
year prior to the Award and up to the closing date for the Award.
Applications open on 1 September of the year and close on 22 December of
the same year with winners being announced on 22 May of the following
year.
Commercial Sponsorship for the Award
is used to raise funding for
the prize money for the winners, as well as for other complimentary
rewards.

This Award is
unique in that it is a nation wide award for women who take on voluntary
leadership roles in the community. Please consider applying yourself or
nominating someone for the Award so that they can enter and be
recognised for their leadership achievements.
The
Leadership Achievement Award will be open to Members of CLW. Membership
of CLW is open to anyone wishing to nominate for the award, or to

Membership of CLW There is no fee for entry of the Award.
Applicants must be
Australian citizens, or have been granted permanent residence by 31
October of the year prior to this application, AND have lived in
Australia for previous 12 months.
