The CLW Leadership Achievement Award for Women Program

The CLW Leadership Achievement Award has been established to recognise women in the community who use their own initiative to create and implement projects for the benefit of the community and in collaboration with the community. It aims to encourage leadership of Australian women and to advance the rights and status of women in Australia.

The Award runs each year and will encompass achievements by the Entrants for the year prior to the Award and up to the closing date for the Award.  Applications open on 1 September of the year and close on 22 December of the same year with winners being announced on 22 May of the following year.

Commercial Sponsorship for the Award is used to raise funding for the prize money for the winners, as well as for other complimentary rewards.

The Diamond Sponsor for the 2009 Awards is ANZ. Gold Sponsors are Australia Post and Avril Henry Pty Ltd.
