Factors influencing Women’s Vote in the 2010 Federal Election

The Australian Centre for Leadership for Women (CLW) conducted an online Survey from 5 August 2010 to 11 August to help inform how women would vote in the upcoming 2010 Federal Election on 21 August 2010 and the factors influencing their vote. 

119 women participated in the online survey. The findings indicate women's first and later preference votes, the factors which are influencing their votes and their views on whether the media coverage of Julia Gillard is fair on gender grounds or biased as a woman.
